About
xloadtime is a extended version of xload. Originally written by Darren J
Moffat. It provides a few enhacements over xload, namely:
- An optional 12/24 hour clock
- CPU bars on the left
Because this version used the old proc FS, this has been updated substantially to use the newer API for Linux. Subsequent changes also make this work across the BSDs.
Controlling xloadtime in terms of colours, etc., can happen via the
Xresources database. For example:
XLoad*background: Black
XLoad*foreground: gray52
XLoad*12Hour: True
XLoad*Cpu: True
XLoad*Update: 5
XLoad*Font: -misc-fixed-bold-r-normal--*-120-*-*-c-*-iso8859-1
XLoad*showLabel: True
Xload*Clock: True
Note that this shares the same namespace with the original xload program.
The screenshot hows four CPUs (one of which is at 100%) with the associated load average.
